Five Things #141

Every Tuesday I share five things I've liked and think you might like too. Here are this week’s Five Things…

  1. A great little trick for working out percentages. Why didn't anyone tell me this before?

  2. What to say when you don't know what to say. I'm sure this will come in handy.

  3. It's hard to be happy about being a meat-eater after watching this. 😢

  4. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on why we should be excited that robots might be coming for our jobs: "We should be excited about automation, because what it could potentially mean is more time educating ourselves, more time creating art, more time investing in and investigating the sciences, more time focused on invention, more time going to space, more time enjoying the world that we live in. Because not all creativity needs to be bonded by wage." I'm fully behind this version of our future! She makes a number of excellent points.

  5. I absolutely love these. 80s style LP covers featuring 80s versions of today's pop stars.

That's all for this week. If you enjoyed it, sign up to my newsletter and you'll get the next one delivered to your inbox.
