Five Things #159

Every Tuesday I share five things I've liked and think you might like too. Here are this week’s Five Things…

  1. I really like this idea — Effective funerals: buy biographies instead of expensive burials, and maybe cemeteries can become libraries

  2. I'm learning a tonne from this series of lectures by conductor and composer Leonard Bernstein — Leonard Bernstein - The Unanswered Question (Norton Lectures)

  3. You may have heard that Katy Perry was recently sued over her song Dark Horse. The whole thing is quite ridiculous as Adam Neely neatly explains in this video — Why the Katy Perry/Flame lawsuit makes no sense

  4. A fascinating episode of the After On podcast — Annaka Harris on Consciousness

  5. 🎧 I finally got around to watching series 1 of Killing Eve (which is as good as everyone says it is) and found myself constantly skipping back to look up various songs, many of which were by the band Unloved. Their debut album is particularly good — Guilty of Love by Unloved

That's all for this week. If you enjoyed it, sign up to my newsletter and you'll get the next one delivered to your inbox.
