I’d actually forgotten how much I like Cage The Elephant. Great band!
A few things to watch out for on the transcription:
The song switches to half time in the choruses and middle 8. If you listen to the track you’ll notice the backbeat goes from being on the 2 & 4 in the verse, to the 3 in the chorus. It’s a really nice change of pace, just watch out for it as you transition between sections.
I’ve adapted the fill in bar 10 and 32 for a kit with two toms as that is what most of my students use. If you have three toms, have a listen to the track, you should be able to work it out!
The fills in bar 90, 97 and 98 are difficult to hear on the track so I’ve given it my best guess as to what is being played. Use the transcription as a guide and listen to the track and adapt as you see necessary.
